Part of the Quinag team spent the last week in France and Italy working on the Giraglia Rolex Cup, the Mediterranean’s oldest offshore race. This historic race continues to grow in stature. A record 268 yachts from 18 countries took part in a blustery 2016 edition.

Based from media centres in Saint-Tropez and then Genoa, Quinag helped deliver the international PR requirements before, during and after the event (affectionately known as 'The Old Lady of the Mediterranean').

The 64th edition of the race was claimed by the 36-ft French yacht Tip. Defending champion Magic Carpet Cubed, owned by Sir Lindsay Owen-Jones, claimed line honours as the first yacht to complete the course.

Quinag’s tasks included the production of content, delivery of news releases and coordination with the event photography and video teams. We assisted in the storyboarding, scripting and translating of video highlights. The wrap-up, produced by IMG, may be viewed on the Rolex YouTube Yachting Channel.
